Digital Media Buyer

Doe-Anderson’s digital marketing team is seeking an experienced, talented Digital Media Buyer for a full-time position based at our headquarters in Louisville, KY.

As a Digital Media Buyer, you will manage performance-based digital advertising for agency clients on search engines, social networks, display networks, affiliate networks and other platforms that may arise.

Requirements

SEM expertise. You will have 2+ years of previous trench-level experience managing a successful search engine marketing effort.

SEO expertise. You will have demonstrated success developing and managing effective search engine optimization plans.

Curiosity. You will have the ability to identify and manage new/effective performance media channels beyond search, eg. social networks, display networks, affiliate networks, etc.

Passion for numbers. You will have outstanding analytic capabilities, and sound business judgment.

High bandwidth. You must be able to juggle multiple clients effectively. If you can’t wake up thinking about selling car batteries and go to bed thinking about selling beach vacations, this is not the job for you.

Self-motivation/discipline.

Communication skills. You must be able to present your ideas and/or needs in a clear, concise, and confident way.

A BS/BA degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Developing/executing a digital media effort that aligns with each client’s business goals.
• Keeping key stakeholders (both inside and outside of the agency) informed re: status of each client’s performance media effort.
• Monitor the ever-changing world of search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing) to ensure compliance with guidelines and algorithms.
• Liaise with designers/developers (both inside and outside of the agency) to recommend and deploy effective landing pages.
• Liaise with copywriters (both inside and outside of the agency) to recommend effective use of keywords.
