Join a Committee!
If you're already a member, get involved in planning some of AAF Nashville's activities from educational programs and social gatherings to diversity and public service initiatives.
Committees provide members an avenue for networking, building careers and socializing. Volunteering creates a sense of community within the industry and brings together all segments of the advertising profession and related fields.
What could be more fulfilling?
We’re always looking for talented professionals who want to showcase their talents, while making a difference in Nashville’s ad community. For more information, or to join a committee, contact info@AAFNashville.com.

DIVERSITY
The Diversity Committee exists to promote and nurture diversity throughout Nashville’s advertising industry. This committee promotes AAF’s educational programs to encourage ad industry businesses to recruit more minorities and support minority college students in pursuing an advertising career. ADDY® AWARDS
The ADDY® Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting more than 60,000 entries annually. Conducted by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the ADDYs recognize and reward creative excellence in all forms of advertising. The competition is divided into three levels of judging but it all starts at the local level. Winners of local competitions are forwarded to compete against district winners; district winners are then forwarded to compete in the national competition. Our ADDY® Planning Committee is responsible for planning and executing the call-to-entries process and the awards ceremony for the local Nashville competition, as well as forwarding winners to district.

EDUCATION
The Education Committee serves as a resource for Nashville area colleges and universities through events such as the Student ADDY awards, educational tours, seminars, portfolio reviews, and mentoring opportunities. FUND RAISING
The Fund Raising Committee works closely with the Executive Board to set the concept and direction of all fundraising activities of AAF Nashville. Fundraisers are a vital part of the AAF Nashville’s annual operating budget. We welcome the involvement of members who have a flair for “making money” while having a lot of fun. And a new angle for our group is working with the ADDY® committee in the area of sponsorships. Past fundraising events include the Golf Tournament, a Super Bowl® Commercials Party and the highly successful Annual Media Auction.

PROGRAMS
Then Programs Committee evaluates the ad industry's hottest, most provocative topics, and then develops our program agenda. It is one of our most critical committees, central to AAF Nashville’s mission: establishing events that allow for education, networking and socializing for both members and non-members. We also seek out partnerships with other industry-related organizations in Nashville to provide additional exposure to interesting speakers or seminars that will add value to the AAF Nashville experience.

AD2/ PUBLIC SERVICE CAMPAIGN
Each year, the Public Service Committee partners with Ad2, AAF Nashville’s affiliate for professionals between the ages of 18 and 32, to create and execute a full-fledged pro bono advertising and integrated marketing campaign for a Nashville area non-profit organization. With its members working as a full-service advertising agency, Ad2 and AAF Nashville bring together the best emerging advertising talent in Nashville and partner with advertising vendors in the market to create great advertising that really works. We believe it’s important to give something back to the Nashville business community that supports our industry in so many ways.
