The Marketing Secrets that Launched the Pilgrimage Festival

Approximately 25,000 people per day from near and far journeyed to Franklin, Tennessee’s Pilgrimage Festival this past September. This 3-year-old festival, dubbed the “grown-up Bonnaroo," is booming, with attendance nearly doubling year-over-year.

What factors contribute to its quick success across generations? Join us for a panel-style discussion with the ladies who helped execute this event—from smart brand partnerships and sponsors to experiences that attract millennials and boomers alike, we’re pulling out all the secrets.

What know-how will I walk away with?

  • How to successfully create an event that spans generations
  • How "saying no" is one of the best ways to keep your brand sharp
  • How brands and events can win at providing experiences that really connect

Jackie Campbell is a branding and partnership marketing strategist focused on connecting brands with Nashville’s rapidly expanding and diverse community of music and artists. She currently directs partnership strategy for Big Loud Management + Records, the Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival, and Sarah Cannon’s Band Against Cancer campaign. With over fifteen years of entertainment marketing experience, she previously served as the Director of Partnership Marketing for nearly six years for a successful independent record label. In the Nashville-based role, she oversaw corporate partnerships and brand integrations for the label group’s 30+ artists and numerous initiatives, working closely with some of the world’s most successful brands and biggest recording artists in Country music. Prior to her Nashville move, Jackie spent almost ten years working for CBS Radio in Chicago in a marketing and business development role. A Windy City native, Jackie holds a B.A. in Communication from DePaul University.

Kate Truscott is one half of the dynamic duo that makes up the 4Fini Nashville office where sponsorship strategy is handled from introduction through activation. Kate works with clients to create and execute key programs that allow them to access all that the 4Fini properties have to offer including social media and digital integration, artist relations, onsite marketing, and management of all staff each summer on the Vans Warped Tour.

Prior to coming to 4Fini in 2006, Kate held various management touring positions with music artists like Chevelle, My Chemical Romance, and Fort Minor. Kate grew up in New England and graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder. After starting her career in Chicago, Kate moved to Nashville to launch the 4Fini office.

When she isn’t working, you can find her at early morning boot camp workouts with partner in crime Allison, hanging at home with her shar-pei Oscar, or baking gourmet treats for friends.
