AAFN to Host Annual Student ADDYs®
Students Enter Their Creative Work for National Recognition
The AAFN’s Student ADDY Awards competition is looking for talented students in the Nashville area interested in submitting their creative work to this year’s competition. Students should submit their entries online by the local deadline, Jan. 31, 2012, and deliver them to GS&F on Jan. 30 or 31 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Entry fees are $30 for AFFN student members and $35 for non-members.
Locally known as The Nashville Student ADDY awards, the competition is conducted by AFFN, which is made up of marketing and advertising professionals throughout the community. It is one of 194 local American Advertising Federation associations (aaf.org).
The competition offers students the chance to showcase their work to potential employers, build their resumes, and simply earn bragging rights against other students across the country. Work entered at the local level can advance to regional and national judging, where the National Best of Show will receive a $1,000 cash award.
An awards celebration will be held on February 28 at PLAY for Nashville Student ADDY entrants. Students who enter the competition can attend for free, and all other students can attend for $5. All others can attend for $10.
