Cracker Barrel Honored with AAFN Legacy Award

The American Advertising Federation of Nashville (AAFN) presented its Legacy Award to Cracker Barrel Old Country Store at their annual ADDY Awards ceremony. The ceremony took place at downtown Nashville’s historic War Memorial Auditorium on Saturday evening in front of a crowd of 300.

The Federation says the Legacy Award is given annually to a brand that has supported the Nashville community and the advertising industry at large. Previous winners include Purity Dairies and Ryman Hospitality Properties. At the event the host reminded the 300-plus guests in the audience of the long and rich history that Cracker Barrel and Nashville share with one another.

“Anyone who’s driven down an interstate in the past 50 years knows the importance of advertising for the Cracker Barrel brand. Through all of the success and expansion, Cracker Barrel has always honored its hometown country values. In fact, there are very few brands that have taken a seat at our breakfast, lunch and dinner tables the way we’ve seen Cracker Barrel Old Country Store do.” Said Joey Amato, President of the AAFN.

On hand the accept the award for Cracker Barrel was Janella Escobar.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store has been a Tennessee staple since the late 1960s and now has over 600 locations across the country.
